Entrepreneur News – P.Diddy & Ciroc Vodka Team Up

Talk about Branding. Two very distinctive brands decided to team up. Ciroc with their name and P. Diddy with his marketing skills. He mentioned he was interested in introducing his own brand but was impressed with the ciroc brand.

My Presidential Endorsement

This is about the only time in my life that I’m proud and happy about voting. All good candidates and all talking about issues that are important to us all. The question is, who can execute? Who can really do what they say will do?

What a coincidence. The first woman President and the first African American President, at the same time. Why now? What a change. What a unique time in history to be witnessing this change. I am an Independent and I happy about what the Democrats are talking about.

Hillary Clinton, John Edwards and Barack Obama. To us all and our future generation, they can bring about some good changes, but I favor Barack Obama for a lot of reasons.

Happy Quotes

I think Quotes ought to be share with as many people as posssible. It just serves as reminder, most often as motivator to many of us, and I’ll try to post as many as I can. Here are a few.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”— Mark Twain

“I view my life in a way … I’ll explain it to you, OK? The greatest thing about tomorrow is, I will be better than I am today. And that’s how I look at my life. I will be better as a golfer, I will be better as a person, I will be better as a father, I will be a better husband, I will be better as a friend. That’s the beauty of tomorrow. There is no such thing as a setback. The lessons I learn today I will apply tomorrow, and I will be better.”
Tiger Woods

I am here for a purpose and that purpose is to grow into a mountain, not to shrink to a grain of sand. Henceforth will I apply ALL my efforts to become the highest mountain of all and I will strain my potential until it cries for mercy. Og Mandino

Don’t ever let anyone tell you that something is too competitive. Once you subtract the people who don’t work very hard, or the people who aren’t as good as you, your competition shrinks dramatically.
Maggie Mason, entrepreneur, author, and founder of Mighty Goods

It is those who concentrates on but one thing at a time who advance in this world. The great man or woman is the one who never steps outside his or her specialty or foolishly dissipates his or her individuality. Og Mandino

Never again clutter your days or nights with so many menial and unimportant things that you have no time to accept a real challenge when it comes along. This applies to play as well as work. A day merely survived is no cause for celebration. You are not here to fritter away your precious hours when you have the ability to accomplish so much by making a slight change in your routine. No more busy work. No more hiding from success. Leave time, leave space, to grow. Now. Now! Not tomorrow!
Og Mandino(1923 – 1996)

Enjoy.

Something for all of us to think about.

With the new year upon us, it’s great to look at life and move some parts in the right direction. Most often it all starts with the right questions. Here are a few I came across from Edith Yeung website(Edithyeung.com), that I think are really compelling.

35 Questions You Must Ask to Make This Year the Best Year Ever
1. In one year, whom do I want to become?
2. If today was my last day on earth, what would I rather be doing?
3. How do I want to be remembered?
4. What do I want to be known as?
5. What brings me to life?
6. What is my life goal?
7. If I could only do one thing and one thing only today, what is it that I need to do to get myself closer to my goal?
8. What is my passion in life?
9. What inspires me?
10. What makes me happy?
11. What makes me feel good?
12. What about my life makes me excited every day?
13. Am I living the life I always wanted?
14. Am I growing and learning every day?
15. What do I look forward to every day when I wake up?
16. Who are my best friends?
17. Who is willing to stand by me no matter what?
18. Am I spending time with people whom I care the most?
19. Am I spending time on things that I care about the most?
20. Why am I doing what I am doing now?
21. What am I willing to stand by no matter what?
22. Why do I want to be successful?
23. Who am I helping?
24. What am I naturally good at?
25. Am I adding value to other people’s lives every day?
26. What am I going to do differently this year compared what I did last year?
27. What actions do I need to take to live by my own lights?
28. What is stopping me from doing what I really want to do? (BTW – the answer should beNOTHING)
29. What possibilities do I see now that weren’t obvious to me before?
30. Who will benefit (other than me) when my dream is realized?
31. Who can help me in achieving my goal?
32. What is my life going to be like when my dream is realized?
33. How many different ways do I make money now?
34. How many more ways could I make money this year?
35. Am I as healthy as I can be?

Think About This, have you been avoiding these questions all your life?

Share these questions with your friends. A nice little gift for the new year.

Peace

Best,

Andy G. Rodie
